Today our crew covered an area of 294 sq ft and planted 11 plants saving additional space for trees. Working with the clayed-dirt is still a challenge, but we are trying different strategies to make the best with the soil to ensure plant and tree survival. Our progress was somewhat hindered due to an accident. One of our crew members was filing his shovel and obtained a laceration on his left thumb. He received first aid immediately but because the bleeding did not slow, he was taken to a medical clinic right away. Luckily no stitches were necessary and he will return tomorrow.
